I've taken then to Texas World Speedway on a hot day and found they will get greasy if pushed hard, however the will come back if you take it easy for a few corners. They are very progressive towards the limit, so I never felt on the edge, which increased my confidence in them, and brought down my lap times.
I have them installed on an extra set of OEM wheels and will use them mostly for track and getting to and from the track.

Here are some of my laps and as you can hear they don't squeal a lot like the stock tires.

Awesome thanks for the feedback. The ZII's were the other tires that i was considering. Looks like i may have to give them a try. I had the ZI's on my S2000 and loved them and i hear the ZII's are ever better.

Here are my ZII going back on for this weekend's event. They have 2 hot track days and 450 street miles on them so far. Not much wear yet.

Note: I don't track the car and I only driven on stock to compare. And based on my personal driving habits with 300 km of driving.

These tires are awesome! Drove them in heavy rain and dry road and right from the start, they are MUCH better than stocks.

Noise level: a bit louder than stock, there's a "howl" sound driving on the HWY, but it doesn't bother much.

Comfort: about the same.

Going into Corner: more responsive, less under steer.

Exiting Corner: Huge different. With the stock, the traction control goes on and the car continues to slide until letting off the gas to take control. The Dunlops is a different story, traction control goes on for a split second and grips through the corner.

So far, I am much pleased with these.

Just bought a set of RE-11's yesterday 245/40 f 285/35 r for less than $1200. For those interested in RE-11, just gotta call TireRack, or go to your local Firestone dealer and they even price-match Costco's prices. I informed the Bridgestone rep at TireRack that the 285 wasn't online, yet he said it was available. That has since been fixed on their website. As for the RE-11 being discontinued, that is incorrect, as previously thought. I found out that the tire has been updated with a different compound and better sidewall. Treadwear, or UTQG, is now 200, up from 180. It is only by this difference you can differentiate the older version1 RE-11 from the newer version2. So far the version2 have been released in the wider rear sizes, which is fine since the rears wear faster. I don't mind having a stronger compound on the rear and softer version1 up front. Mind you, I am not talking about RE-11a's. Check it out on TireRack. RE-11's are here to stay. All's well in tireland now.

Tracked the Dunlop Z2.

By the end of the day, this is what they look like:

The grip is unbelievable, it's very hard to push the tires to the limit (personally). The tires did not become greasy nor lose "any" grip. Felt the same from lap 1 to the last (approx. 15 laps). Also the sidewall is FIRM, the new tires pebbles are still there.

Haven't driven on RE-11s or any other extreme tires, but it's safe to say you can't go wrong with these Dunlops.
