Thinking about changing my OEM 370Z wheels so need opinions on my selection.
This is what the 370Z looks like now: ![]() This is the USW Forged Kingpin wheel I want to mount on the Z: ![]() The red on the Kingpin will be replaced by the Z's body color. Of course the next step is selecting size and thinking of 20x9.5 front and 20x10.5-11 rear. Reading as much about offset and camber requirements to make sure outside edge of wheels lines up with body contours without requiring drift car-like camber! LOL. Will also install BC RC in future. Question: should the BC RC be done first or last or does it not matter? Thanks for looking. |

Not feeling those wheels at all, sorry.
If you plan on going that aggressive you would need to figure out suspension first, it would look weird to be aggressive on stock height I would also suggest against color matching the face, it doesn't belong on a Z. Challenger or Camaro yes but not on a Japanese car |

Not even on a Camaro. Maybe a 300.

Looks too blingy to me. As stated earlier, belongs on a donk, not the Z. Plus color matched wheels to me are tacky.

OK, this is what I was trying to emulate with a colored center. I accept that a colored center is not acceptable. Is this look still not acceptable given what has been said? Irrespective of the wheel I chose, I want to achieve this stance.

That wheel design doesn't look very strong. The spoke looks really thin by the center. Also, the finish on it is pretty bad. Orange peel like crazy.

I agree the spokes are thin but the strength of the wheel is also dependent on the quality of the alloy used to manufacturer the wheel as well as the design. I certainly would not use these wheels to race the Z as an 18" would be better suited for this purpose. I know that the USW Forged wheels are made of T6 tempered 6061 alloy which has a very high tensel strength. Last edited by ZeeRedZ; 04-23-2013 at 02:22 PM. Reason: Read previous response. |

First off if you have the cash get a forged monoblock wheel or a nice custom 3 piece forged wheel (HRE, Strasse forged etc) That being said if you want red thats cool but i think it may be a little too matching and i would avoid chrome lips (unless done with the right wheel) Personally i think a Black Volk TE37 with Red Volk/Rays emblems with a red pinstripe would look the best. It will tie in your red calipers and red car not blind you with too much red... But below are some other color options Or the 350z i posted looks awesome! White TE37s on red looks great! Red caliper behind their would look amazing

A brushed or silver face would look much better than color matched
