Nismo vs Sport - why same tire in front, but not in rear?

Ask me how I know.
That's kind of what I mean. I don't think swapping the wheel & tire package from a Nismo to a base would really throw it out of wack for example. There's a bit of wiggle room in tire sizes but not much.

You are correct. Honestly, for how much the VDC kicks in with my NISMO with the wider wheels and tires, I don't think Nissan re-calibrated anything over the base car.

I am going to try a 305/30/19 rear when I need tires and see how the car likes it. It's much closer to the stock OD of 26.5".

Here you go. I'm running on 285 RE-11's in the rear now, but this is how a nismo wheel would look on the sport RE-050's

Any shots of the wheels from the top or the back? I just want to see how "stretched" it looks.

I guess I saw some in your profile, does not look like there is any rim sticking out. Thanks.

Yeah if anything the tire looks slightly concave, but the rim isn't much more exposed than it is on a 285. You should be fine.

the sidewalls of tires by tire brand looks different too.

here's a continetal DW 275/35/19 on 10.5" weds.

( Click to show/hide )

RE050, S04's both show more stretch than the AdvanSports even though on same wheel width, same tire width.
