How much tire size can I increase on the stock 18' wheel

I see plenty of threads that owners go to 305 and 265 for the 19' rays. I am about to change tires soon and wondering how much I can increase

From the factory it comes with 225-50-18 front and 245-45-18 rear

Thanks

You can also for future questions like this go to tirerack.com and put in a tire size and it will state what the max rim width can be.

Just remember this even though a tire can go on a rim the "look" will differ with the width of the rim. So if you slap a 275 on a 9 inch rim it will probably bubble out a bit vs on a 10.5 inch rim it would stretch a little.

I rocked the 245/275 set up on my 350z with the stock track rims and the rear bubbled a bit more then I liked but was still ok for the rim width.

Are the wheel specs of 350 and 370z about the same?
And did you gain more traction and better handling?

If I remember correctly the 350z track wheels were like 8 inch front 8.5 rear...
The stock tires I think were 225/245 as well.

The traction was unreal compared to the stock skinny bridgestones but I also ran a toyo T1R which is a sticky tire, handling was insane too.
