Last minute check before purchase.
I am about to take the plunge in a day or two and order my BBK, wheels, tires, and spacers. Just triple checking that everything will fit before I order.
Dropped on Swift Springs Sport Package brakes powder coated and color matched to MB. 19x9.5 TSW Interlagos (Front) with 245/40/19 Tires 19x10.5 TSW Interlagos (Rear) with 275/35/19 Tires (wheel link) +15 mm spacers with extended studs all around Spacer Link In some emails with various people it seems 15mm spacers would be fairly flush without being too aggressive, not 100 percent sure on +15mm for all around, still open to ideas. Everything check out? -Ill |
What are your offsets? Why would you run spacers if you were ordering a new set of wheels? |
15 all around on spacers will work. won't be completely flush but decently close. I would personally run a 20 on the rear but that's perfect flush and your actual camber settings will matter. my rear camber is around-2.5. Your fronts will still be sunk a bit since I'm running 18x9.5 +25 offset right now. you'll be almost identical to mine except I'm running a 255 tire up front. I'm running 18x10.5 on the rear with a +7 offset and its as flush as it gets.

If you click the link it tells you all the info you need to know just as I did..... |
I was under the impression that spacers would be needed in order to be more aesthetically pleasing. I am coming from the base 18s with no suspension mods to 19s and being lowered, figured it would look goofy without buying them.
I am completely in the dark as far as wheels and tires, this will be the first aftermarket ones i have ever had on any car so I am a little overwhelmed. I found this in the fitment thread and instantly fell in love with that stance. Emailed a few rim places online and one on this forum with that picture and link where I was placing my order and almost everybody said run +15mm around to get that stance with the offsets the website offers. So that is why I was planning to buy spacers even with the new wheels. If I am wrong by all means, correct me. Also I assumed when somebody posts a link when asking a question the people who reply you know...open and actually read it to provide an educated response. Call me crazy. Bellevue, Nebraska |

So the pic from your LINK is the offset look you want? To me thats a little weak for an offset. i prefer the pics below.
19x9.5+15 19x10.5+0 or 19x11+10 Also if i am reading correctly you are doing 19x9.5+15 with 15mm spacer so 9.5+0???-- THIS WILL BE WAYYYYY TOO AGGRESSIVE if so!! 19x10.5+15 with 15 mm spacer so 10.5+0 If you can avoid spacers thats ideal but they do serve a good purpose for one piece wheels that cant go as low of an offset as 2 and 3 piece wheels can. |
For less than $200 more you could go with this wheel that is concave and would show off your new calipers alot better, not to mention a lot easier to get inside of for cleaning purposes.

No offense to TSW but why not get Wedsport or Work one piece wheels... All will be lighter and probably similarly priced all made in Japan and all have a strong reputation vs TSW which is lacking in that department.
Just my 2 cents but a Wedsport SA55m, even a Forgestar concave F14 (not made In Japan) or Work kawami concave to me are all much sexier wheels. |

Word of advice, if your gonna order Forgestars be very patient and willing to wait.
I've been waiting since Thanks Giving. Hopefully they will be here soon. |

EDIT: you're in Guam, I bet they shipped using THE slowest method |

No it's supposed to be shipped USPS priority that's what I paid for. Also they just finished like last week so I'm waiting for pics and a tracking # from Getyourwheels.com. They should of shipped out yesterday or sometime today. :ughdance: This is the longest I've ever waited for anything but I know it will be worth it... |

Also he could go with an 18 inch Weds Sa55 or tc105n for close to that price for the TSW... |

Not to call you out but where are you researching your prices? I'd love to find a set that cheap as I am running on TC105ns and paid $2200 for my set. Point me where you are finding g the SA-55s for $1200 and I'll buy a set right now for my daily set and keep my TCs for track use only. |
