You may want to try someone else...

They won't take responsibility for it as it happened out of their shop and didn't break while they were working on it. Even if it did happen while they were working on it, most shops just say the previous shops fault lol. You're S.O.L. on this one. Pay a shop to pull it off. get new lug nuts and carry on. |
Looks like you have managed to still have the wrong type of lugs all this time
Dealers were putting on the 08 locks on 09's thinking they would work but because of the different design? They had a tendency of breaking because the bottom out before fully tightening, And as a result a tsb was released But at this point either remove them all and replace them with replacement lugs or the proper locks for the 09's and up. http://www.the370z.com/370z-technica...heel-nuts.html Edit: on closer review You guys maybe right. Looks like the proper locks |
appears to be the right lock, they probably just used an impact gun to tighten.

bad juju...glad you caught that...

Right lock, impact wrench was used on it though... The locking lug is BS for applying pressure |
Hoy crap

They must have used a tq wrench on it which is a major no no

Think I have the wrong locks too. Look how tiny the diameter of the no shoulder lock lug is inside the wheel bolt well....Guess I'll spray PB Blaster on all 4 of them and pray that I can get them off when I order the new ones.
Guess there is no point in going to the dealer with the TSB for a 4 year old car, they'll laugh me out of the parking lot. Since I bought the car with 11.2K miles on it I'm sure these are the original tires that have never been changed so I'm sure those bitches are rusted on there really well. |
