Miles on factory rear tire before replacement

Hi guys. I want to know how many miles you guys put on your factory rear tires before having to replace them. I got my car brand new on May of 2010 and put 23k miles on it, yet it still have some treads left. However, I'll definitely have them replaced next month or so.

What are your records?

:iagree: Yeah, you need to drive harder, LOL

Btw, are you looking at the outside of the tread? The inside might be shot.
I just had my rear tires flip flopped

Mine are at 10k, not sure if I should keep driving and wait for something to happen to them http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/03/09/umavyveq.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/03/09/vasuqa4e.jpg

I'm at 18K on the original Advans and still have plenty of tread. But I don't get many chances to drive very hard. They're wearing a bit more toward the outside, but not enough for me to worry about alignment until I get new tires. I'll probably need new rear tires somewhere around 24K.
The fronts are the same - plenty of tread with slightly more wear on the outside.

I believe I was around 24k when I replaced my stock rears. As someone stated above check your inner tread cuz mine seemed ok, but when I checked from behind u could see the radials showing :shakes head: ya sliding thru one more corner could have been the end of them. I didn't drive the car very hard so that added lots of life to them. The poor pilot super sports now havnt been so lucky haha :driving:
