It would be for me because I'd choose the RE-11's regardless of the lower cold weather performance, as long as the car will NEVER see snow. But that's because I really do not want to give up overall grip during my spirited summer driving. Also, I don't plan on ever tracking my car either. Or use it during the winter, but even if I did I'd still opt for the RE-11's.

Easy for me in Hawaii..... lol but I think the OP would like the A/S+ He's already stated he doesn't drive spiritedly and is looking for a long lasted tire that's going to be smooth and good in all weather. We all know why WE personally would choose the SS or the RE-11's but from the sounds of it, the A/s+ would be more suitable for him. Dammit, I still sound like a tire salesman even when I'm not at work lol. Not to mention, the A/S+ is probably cheaper.

His signature states otherwise. That's some pretty erratic driving if I do say so myself ;)

its a 4.00 difference between the tires so the cost is not an issue..

just want to make the best choice for my needs ..

To give an idea of how i drive heres what my factory tires look like @ 19K; I think I can get another 7-10k from them easy..
