Help Needed: New Wheels (Thanks!)

Dear users,

The time has come for me to change my wheels. Can you recommend a place for me to order them from? What should I order? I am looking for a good overall set of wheels. I live in NJ, so keep that in mind. It does get pretty cold here.

Thanks everyone,

It's all subjective .... Depends on what you want... To truly upgrade quality in wheels you will spend some money on brands like Volk ssr work etc. do you want a concave style, recessed spokes(something with a lip to it). Do you prefer a simple style wheel like a 5/6 spoke? Split spokes? Mesh type design with many spokes? That may help someone suggest a good wheel for you that meets what you are looking for. Also browse around the wheel threads and see what catches your eye. Hope this helps

I live in jersey myself...this is my first winter with the car...what I planning on doing is keep my stock wheels and tires strictly for the winter season...and will be upgrading in about a month...get your wheels.com

Well my stock tires are completely done. I need to replace them. The problem is that I don't have enough experience to know what tires to even look at. Therefore I need specific example and links so I can learn more about them.

Thanks guys,

-Budget (with Tires)?

-Are you looking for performance or simply looks or combination of the two?

-Are you planning on lowering the car?

I guess within reason. $350 per tire is acceptable.

A combination would be nice. Also something that isn't just horrid in colder climates.

No, stock height is perfect.

Thanks a bunch.

No we need to know your total budget, at least $2,000 is needed for a used set and $3,000 for a new set.

Is that doable?

are you looking for wheels, tires, or both?

I am looking only for tires.

Is $350 per tire a reasonable budget? Can you provide me with a link of where to buy, or to look at some options?

Thanks,
