Default RE-11's. Impressions and review

Let me start off by saying wow! Just wow... these tires have so much grip! It was 25 degrees when I test drove after install. In first gear starting around 4k rpm I dont loose traction until ~6300-6500 range. I would have been spinning all day with my stock setup. Today its raining and 35 degrees and I am still getting better hookup than stock in dry conditions! I really cant wait to give these a try when it is warmer out! Went though some puddles, no hydroplane at all. And road noise is a lot better. I might be crazy but ride comfort seems a little better too

Those are on my to do list I want to to mount them on 19x9.5 and 19x11 Work Emotions... Glad to hear they work well cold and wet. The only thing I worry about is the roads in Las Vegas get oily when it rains, especially the first 10-15 minutes.

Yeah, doesnt matter what kind of tires you have, fresh rain with the oil on the road is game over...

I'll be picking up a set in July to help with my autox. Gonna learn on my crappy tires for now and compete next season!

Careful running hard in those kind of temperatures, the tires are not designed for that.

Boy, there is so many wrongs in your post. Pushing tires hard when brand new. That's a no. Then pushing it hard the rain as you said '' no Hydroplaning'' like you where trying to.

They are great tires and I loved mine. But I feel my AD08's have a advantage. Plus just a little cheaper.

Cool.. Not by much, but over a $120 for a set is a good savings. Thanks Chris

As to pushing the tired hard when they are brand new. Yes, i tested them out. Im not going to baby them for 500-1000 miles without seeing what they can do first. Its not like i was at the track racing. Just some simple testing. Maybe 4 of 5 WOT runs not back to back. As far as the hydroplaning thing, that was just an observation. When on the highway i noticed the car was not floating all over the damn place due to the rain. With my old tired it was down right scary. And when i went thought a puddle (unavoidable) that normally would had me have a death grip on the wheel it just sailed right through. No problems

Nice, I'm picking up a set in a few weeks for spring, can't wait. Hoping to do Time Attack every other weekend..

I'm going with a 265/35 in front down from a 275 I have now, 305 in back.
