They are replicas yes......The big thing is they CANNOT handle a major impact. My friend AutoX's on his Varrstoeons in a 350z and has done so on well over 10 events over the past year and a half and DD's his car. No issues. That being said, AutoX courses are also small and don't achieve very high speeds as true road courses do. AutoX, i dont think they are a problem. True road racing then yes, I would be concerned.

I plan on maybe one or two track days with my Z... I mostly do autocross anyways. I will be using my future pro-touring 1969 Camaro for the track
