I know of 3 different people who have had their Varrstoens crack (not bend on them). One was on the track under heavy use and two others were just in normal driving.
I personally know way too much about wheels to ever settle for a set of these Varrstoens for my own car but I don't hate on others if that's their choice. I will say that there are plenty of other options to pursue without settling for these poor quality cast Varrstoens. Enkei for instance makes a ton of great lightweight and durable designs or you could do some digging on the used market. |
Enkei's prices are great, but I don't like any of the styles they offer on the Z.

I think some people have forgotten the fact that Volk TE's are around 6-7 pounds or more lighter per wheel then the Varstoen knock off. In unsprung weight that's a huge difference. That being said I have had 3 sets of Volks and love them but I am not going to bash the replicas, but please don't bash the real deal. The comparison of the 2 even as they look the same are worlds apart. |
^^ indeed, that was the 1st.
silly pun intended for silly comment. |
I think 1st was just kidding, no way that was a serious statement :icon17:
