Widest tires possible

I have 19 in rays with 20mm spacers. What is the widest tire I can put on? Traction issues?

You don't think that the tire "cones" around the rim too much with the 305?

I just am basing this off of my current set of 295s, as the rim seems to sit a little bit (inside) the tire. The consensus when I chose mine was that the 305s sometimes feel squishy on the stock 19 sport wheel and the fact I was able to get some 295s for a steal on eBay! .

I dont think so, I mean you wouldn't want to go any wider than that. Sure you will a get a bit more play but I think the added surface area makes up for that. That being said I have not tried anything but a stock tire yet myself. The thread is about the widest tire possible and Id have to say that you probably would not want to go wider than that.

:iagree: I also saw a 305/30/19 setup in person. Looks great. Planning on doing the same soon.

What's the best size up front to balance out the bigger rears? Like I said I have 20mm spacers all around.

I apologize if I'm intruding on your thread valpozguy. I'm somewhat on the same boat so making another thread is pointless. Thinking of getting a new set of tires for my base 18's or move up to the Ray 19's. If I keep my Base 18's will 245/45/18 - 265/40/18 fit with no rubbing/spacers? If I go 19's I'll probably just keep the default tire sizes or follow what valpozguy is doing.

EDIT: found a thread that talks about my 18's - stupid me.
