my next set will be 255/35/19 & 305/30/19.

i think that 275 is a bit much. i thought i read our cars start the have issues when the front tire gets to wide. something about the steering geometry.

I've seen a couple people doing it... I haven't heard of any issues...

Talking

I got no problems with my 275/35-19 PSS on the front. Stock height.

Wait...Op is referring to the oem nismo fronts that are 9.5 in wide right, and that's wide enough for 275 right?

If it's the s-tune fronts (9 in), then I concur

i was refering to something i saw on here about guys moving up to a 10.5" rim width up front. that rim size along with wider tires causes some kind of adverse handling. i will try and search later for it.

but if thats all crap i heard then great! im glad we can go that wide!

On 9.5's you can go 275 at max, on 10.5's you can go 305

Problem is that you get a "mushroom" effect, the inside of the tires bubbles up if you go past 255/285 respectively

This may sound moronic, but try swapping your wheels, put your fronts in the rear and vice versa. IMO you'll have more traction because there is more PSI on the rear tires and wider rubber up front will reduce your turning circle, but give better turn ins

there might be more air in the rear tires but the pounds per square inch are the same...... 35psi

I have always thought the 370's tires were too wide for looks... My ISF has 245's on the REAR stock, and that has more power and grip than the 370

actually a buddy of mine with an ISF says rear traction is his biggest issue. you have to modify the rear fenders and slap on wider rims. just stating what he told me is all.

also you dont measure contact area by PSI. thats where you confused me.

Fair enough, I know that I can take a corner or onramp faster in the ISF without it stepping out vs my 370
