Winter Storage: cheap wheels
I've got a 370Z with sport package... The plan is to store the car for the winter and I'd like to leave it on the ground but not on the stock wheels/rubber. One site I found suggested getting cheap (steel) rims and rubber (garbage) to stick on the car while it sits sleeping in the garage for the winter months.
I don't need it to be safe to drive... I just want the wheels to mount on the hubs (clearing the calipers) and have rubber. Has anybody looked at this yet? I'm looking for size suggestions or options from other Nissan models that might fit but be readily available used or at low cost. thanx. Last edited by kartman; 07-12-2009 at 07:51 PM. |
