Perhaps, but at least I now know the purpose of those giant wings people put on their cars.

I just had mine installed where I purchased them. Got them at a local Discount Tire following some local recommendations. Price-wise, they were actually cheaper than Tire Rack.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread but was wondering what mileage people are getting on the PSS? I am in the market for a new set and these are on the shopping list, but I need some tires that will last a bit longer than the stockers without sacrificing all of their grip.

I got 13,500 miles out of my first set of PSS (rears) and replaced them only. The fronts are still good (about 6/32) at about 20,000 miles.

I think it is going to be a routine of replacing rears twice for every front replacement.

I've been dying to get my hands on a set of these, just so expensive!

Lakeshow --- They are pricey but way better than v12's or RE's and what not. I got mine for a very good deal that lot's of shops could not match. The closest was within 100 bucks installed.

Thanks onzedge. That isn't terrible for the kind of tires they are. Now to find a good deal on them. Tirerack has them for $1150 after rebate in stock sizes.

I know. But relative to the other good rubber they are very reasonable. They are only expensive compared to Hankook, Kumho, Sumitomo, etc.

I keep going back to the v12's because of price and how fast I am going through tires. The Z is my DD right now and I go on a spirited runs time to time. Right now I have a rear suspension problem that is eating my rears off that I am getting fixed prior to the new tires being installed.

Just got mine put on last week :) I bought them from tirerack.com, saved me almost $300 installed vs Costco. First time I ordered tires online, gonna order online from now on.

Do any of you have problems with traction?

yep - they spoil you when you swap out to your all seasons...

they do slip at 40 degrees or so.

Dzel 04-19-2013 08:34 AM

I'm stock on M350's sized 20 and I have no traction in first or second if I'm getting on it.

Once warmed up, they stick.
