Tire size!

Im currently running 305's (on 11x19's) right now but im wondering what the widest tire I can put on them without mushrooming? Any pictures or stories of experience is welcome.

1 inch = 25.4 mm

With that in mind, I'd say for an 11 inch wide rim, 11x25.4mm= 279.4 so a 275 wide tire would be a lil stretchy and 285 would be the way to go.

Just going by basic math. I don't actually have experience with those rim widths, FYI.

reason for going bigger? Its not gonna look much more aggressive then you have now. You may need to adjust your camber some more for wider tires unless you have plenty of clearance. 325 or 335 is probably the widest you wanna go. For a 345 tire, Michelin website shows 11.5" width is the smallest you should put it on. Their 325/30/19 is $918/tire....enjoy

I saw 325 on an 11x 19 and it looked fairly chunky

I have 305 on 11x19 like u and it seems perfect. Not sure if you'll notice the difference much

Here is something you can go by as an example just so you get an idea...

335 on a 17x11

Im in the market for new tires and I just wanted to know what the widest I can put on my rim is all. maybe if it gives it a different look or even a noticeable difference at all or just a slight subtle change.

Even if subtle... after all a lot of the mods we do to the 370z are subtle but make big differences and all the "right" mods together make the most dramatic.

we have seen wheel spacers, blacking out some parts of the exterior, lowering extreme to mild and even stretched tires with the right stance. so im just looking into it to just for ***** and giggles.

I guess I will be the guinea pig and test this out myself

Wink

Here is what a 275/35-19, and 325/30-19 look like on 9.5x19, and 12x19 rims. The 11x19 rim might not be wide enough for a 325/30.

I believe you are correct sir... doesn't look like the 325 will fit.
