Works gnosis gs4 <--- help.
Planning on Purchasing wheels for my baby! 40th Anniversary 370z. I want to stay true to it's roots & get a Gunmetal Face but still have some kind of unique look toward it. So i thought gunmetal face w. bronze lip.
I was planning 20's when i saw this car: but than thought, 20' for New Jersey Streets was just too big. I wanted an "Mean" Look w. a beefy tire like 305 in rear. f. 19x10 +18 r. 19x11 +11 photoshopped these on her. thoughts? comments? look sick? or big mistake? |

To me the bronze lip doesn't work on this color. I would go with a polished lip. Or polished lip with a black or gunmetal face. Something along those lines. But if the bronze sets your pants on fire then go with it its your ride.

IMO, the 20s fill in the wheel arches the best. The bronze lip could really set off a kevlar lip kit. (Shine has them). I personally don't know though if the bronze really matches the 40th's paint.

Yeah I was also thinking that Bronze was a little much & polished would be best, just experimenting with that "unique" style. Everyone seems to have either black or gunmetal but never seen a Bronze.
Possibly more thought should go into it. Post your thoughts on Wheels & Colors setups. post pics :] |

I'm biased, but I think black wheels look great with the 40th color. I went with 19" in the shadow black color scheme. I fought myself over 19" and 20" for weeks and ultimately decided 19" would look best with my car lowered on H&R springs. Here are a few pics.

19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12. Could have gone a bit more aggressive in the back, I have 5mm spacers with more room to go. Camber is back to stock after installing adjustable arms.

Those are sick wheels bro. Im in the process of locating a set for a good price. I'm leaning towards a 20" setup to fill the fenders since I wont be dropping it much. If I drop her it will be pretty conservative, probably with Swift springs. So about 1.2" of drop. Trying to figure out what offsets along with tire sizes is crazy. Can't wait to see your pics.

Are you happy with the 19' setup? I love the shadow black. I wanted GS4 w. a diff. look but who knows lol

Extremely happy with it. With the right drop you cant beat the look. My only issue is I scrape the ground every now and then, so I need to drive with caution. You get use to it though. If you go with 19" and drop it with H&Rs I'd suggest getting larger profile tires and that should help the issue. I have 245/35/19 in front and 275/30/19 in the back.
