plus I think you were told it'd be 6 weeks or so for yours to be done right? I was told 2-3 for mine...

edit: Just want to clarify that forgestar told DDM to tell customers 2-3 weeks. I'm definitely not unhappy with the service Mike has given me, he's kept me in the loop through the whole thing. Didn't want anyone thinking bad about his business over this...it's all on forgestars side

CrownR426 08-18-2009 11:29 AM

That sucks bro, you should get some money back.
Like seriously...

nogoodname 08-18-2009 11:36 AM

long overdue.... join in my bandwagon for Vossen Concave then....

DDM, do you sell Vossen rims??

Nope, sorry. :(

nogoodname 08-18-2009 11:40 AM

i'm hopping on the Vossen bandwagon anyways

Caravanshaka 08-18-2009 11:42 AM

your vossens are still in concept stage...you might get them before I get mine, lol.

nogoodname 08-18-2009 12:00 PM

concept stage is almost done

FuszNissan 08-18-2009 12:06 PM

I can't wait to see Vossen Concave. We are a Vossen Retailer. ( We have our own aftermarket company...shhhh.)

nogoodname 08-18-2009 12:06 PM

I can't wait either....lol

LiquidZ 08-18-2009 12:13 PM

Any indication of Vossen wheel weights?

nogoodname 08-18-2009 12:15 PM

not too sure, for daily driving.... makes little to no difference.

the rims will be monoblocks

Shift 08-18-2009 08:32 PM

In the same boat as Caravan ordered mine a week before he did June1st. Mike has been great with trying to get us what we've ordered. However This is getting vey OLD.....
I think asking for 10% refund for such a wait as well as bad customer service/relations is not asking to much. Don't see it happening, Just look at how Dave was treated. Just My 2 cents. If I hadn't bought the tires for these rims I would have cancelled this order a long time ago. The Invo's have beeen sitting collecting dust since the 2nd week of June.

tvfreakazoid 08-19-2009 01:10 AM

How much will those rims set you back?

nogoodname 08-19-2009 01:12 AM

^^ forgestars or the one i mentioned?? or both??

Caravanshaka 08-19-2009 07:36 AM

forgestars are $1,400 shipped from DDM...but I think he meant the ones you are talking about nogood.

FuszNissan 08-19-2009 08:18 AM

They are such a steal!

Yup. Although it is very annoying and poor business to be waiting so long, $1400 is a fantastic deal for good quality custom built wheels.

travisjb 08-19-2009 01:49 PM

I may get a 2nd set... going to have a square setup for second set with 295/18 Hoosiers all around !

tvfreakazoid 08-20-2009 01:20 AM

Not bad. The rims looks really nice. Not big fan of the black one, but the others i like. How much does the rim weigh compared to the 370 rims?

It depends on the size, width, and offset. In the same sizes, widths, and offsets as the stock sport package wheels the Forgestars will be lighter. If you go with wider wheels and lower offsets, they might be a bit heavier.

fuct 08-20-2009 01:55 PM

on there web site they have a PDF file that explains their testing procedures. on that form it states that the 19X11 weigh 25.7lbs.

http://www.forgestar.com/test/FORGESTAR1911F14.pdf

just a heads up..

rreign 08-27-2009 10:28 AM

I got half a mind to join in and bash Forgestar for their fuck ups lately. Some of the stuff they pulled lately (not with me but others) is complete blatant disregaurd to customer loyalty and satisfaction. I call bullsh*t!! Read my user title, I think it explains a bit

nogoodname 08-27-2009 11:05 AM

Did I miss some threads somewhere on Forgestar delivery issues?

rreign 08-27-2009 11:32 AM

che with Caravanshaka... he'll give you the scoop. Also check with Mike from DDM

Caravanshaka 08-27-2009 11:34 AM

I haven't posted my whole situation with them, waiting until delivery is actually made.

12 weeks and 12,000 excuses from forgestar so far...

wstar 08-27-2009 11:35 AM

Ah I somehow missed the "10 weeks" post earlier by Caravanshaka. So we've got Dave's color screwup / bad customer service complaint, and we've got some late orders so far. The bashing seems a little over the top, even though it is frustrating.

nogoodname 08-27-2009 11:36 AM

it's at 12 weeks now for Caravan.....

Caravanshaka 08-27-2009 11:37 AM

the whole story isn't on here...

and again, nothing against Mike at DDM, this is all forgestar

I have to respectfully disagree. It's the customer that pays the price when a company screws up. There has been a few color issues and way too many excuses over a set of wheels that should have been delivered 2 months ago!!

rreign 08-27-2009 12:46 PM

Impression of Caravan Waiting for his Forgestars...
