Oversteer in 2010, 370Z, Roadster
We changed out rear tires and picked up an ugly oversteer.
Replaced the Bridgestone, Potenza with Michelin, Primacy MXV4. Pressure adjustment helped some. (down in front and up in rear) Need advice before we have to change front tires. We are drivers, not technical |
Need suspension set up info...
Too stiff in front?? |
Do you still have the Bridgestone's on the front? If you have two different brands of tire with different tread designs it's not gone to steer right.

The primacy tires aren't nearly as grippy as our stock potenzas, so the rear will lose grip much faster, causing more oversteer. Switch to same tires on all four corners so they lose grip more evenly, making the car more neutral. Also, you could run a stiffer swaybar at the front.

I ran into this problem when changing rim/tire size, running 30 psi all around. I went 38 front and 32 rear, seem to help alot! |
