I'm not sure what to do with the center caps. Since I'm installing the akebonos next weekend and they're in red I was thinking about making part of the center cap red.

Very Nice Job. I think the stuff is great, but I doubt it will hold up. The good news is that you can peel it away and do it again!

Not bad at all, I would just keep the centercap white though or leave them off

Red would be too much

Doesn't look too bad for white on white.

Don't mind me but I'm extremely picky, so:

Whites don't match. Drives me a bit crazy. Looks OK as far as how close they match though, and definitely impressive for plastidip.

I have never particularly soiled my pants for the OE sport wheels in any color but the clear coated aluminum.

Center caps will HAVE to match. There is no other red on the car, so a red center cap will just look horribly ugly IMO

Well the calipers will be red. They're being powdercoated now.

looks awesome. i am thinking about going the plastidip route on my wheels temporarily to see what i think before possibly powder coating them black....my biggest concern is making sure this will actually peel COMPLETELY OFF without a problem. are u sure the heat from the brakes, etc doesnt melt the plastidip on the wheel in ANY WAY?? as long as im promised a clean removal i will try this out

The plastidip will yellow/grey out a bit once it gets dirty, which will make it match your car color more lol. I've had 2 sets of wheels plastidipped and they hold up perfectly fine

I've plastidip my wheels before i had them powder coated. The one thing i ran into was the tire shine eating into the plastidip. I don't know if anyone else ran into that problem. But if you are worried that it won't peel completely off it will. I've also plastidip the rear valanc and the front bumper where the fangs are. It has held up since i plastidip it in January of this year.
