Sooo..where do I get 1 sport wheel

Had a bit of an incident this weekend. Totally destroyed the back left wheel and bent the lower control arm. Also got a bit of rash on the front wheel same side. I think I can have that one fixed, but the rear needs to be replaced.

Anyway, dealer quoted me $979/wheel. Anyone know where to get a single wheel for cheaper?

Somebody needs to be put on ice for this. NOT COOL!

Well. I think I have a lead on a takeoff with 3k miles for $450 or a reman for $550 for the rear. I may just buck up and buy a new front too at those prices. I can't imagine a repair is going to look perfect and that will make me sick.

My bad bro this was supposed to be on Triples back window crash. As far as your situation goes.... Dang one wheel is stupid expensive. I would either save up and buy a complete set of aftermarket rims. Check the ads for rims I would Imagine its going to be tuff to just find one though. Also Hilltop Nissan HANLEES HILLTOP NISSAN claims to have the cheapest parts and will match anybody? They are in California so I’m not sure if they would ship or not but I wouldn’t see why not. Rims are shipped all the time. What is the deal with your accident where you getting sideways?

I was going faster than I should have on a 4 lane road, but nothing insane. Oncoming vehicle started to turn in front of me into a shopping center. They stopped once they saw what was going to happen, but I had to turn into the center on their behalf to avoid hitting them or anything else. The entrance is like 35 or 40 feet wide, so no problem except for there was a damn curb right in the middle. I almost pulled it off but it did get sideways a little bit otherwise it would have just been curb rash.

Fortunately there wasn't anyone else in that entrance or it could have been much worse. Unfortunately, the person who was turning was nowhere to be found when I stopped.

I'll probably just eat this one out of pocket. I just had a car totaled due to hail and have a clean insurance record otherwise.

Just ordered a reman from "TheWheelerShip" on eBay. $519.99 shipped UPS ground.

I should be back on the road early next week at the latest. :driving:

I can't remember how bad the front rash was, so I'll order that one after I assess the situation further.

Too fast, hit curb, then furious. So both I guess.

:bowrofl::bowrofl:

if you are still in need of the lower control arm or other pieces, i know Z1 Motorsports has a few OEM pieces in stock from switching them out on customer's vehicles. might want to give them a call. my friend did this in his 350z (minus the wheel damage) and he had a new control arm in hand in just a few days for just a pennies on the dollar compared to buying at a dealership :tup:
