New wheels on the way!

Ordered a set of Forgestar F14s the other day. Can't wait for them to arrive :D, this is the most I've ever spent on a single mod before...I'll update this thread once I get them mounted on.

Shout out to Frank@Modbargains for hooking it up with the labor day sale!

*Update*
I'm still waiting on the nicer pictures that were taken, but for the meantime heres two pics I took with my phone.

Stock tires for now..thinking about 255/40 front and 285/35 rear, any other suggestions *that won't throw off the speedo much*?

HKYStormFront 09-10-2012 02:31 PM

should look good  in for results!

Size?

Waiz 09-10-2012 06:16 PM

I think you're supposed to make a thread AFTER you have them installed

+1 on what size/offset did you choose

Figured I'd wait until I finally got the wheels before I kept bumping the thread, update on first post!

Soooo jealous....congrats and nice pick!

SPOHN 11-06-2012 06:54 PM

I'd at least go with a 295 tire rear. Will look a lot better.

Nut_N_Much 11-06-2012 06:58 PM

:yum: tasty, 285 may be a bit small for a 11 inch rim. Might have issue with blowing the beads and loosing air. Rims look nice brother.

Thanks all :)

How does a 265/35, 305/30 setup sound, I plan on tracking so would this setup cause much understeer?

blueranger 11-06-2012 10:20 PM

Great choice.... These are very nice!

I had a set of gold Forgestars on my BMW 135i. They are terrific wheels, but with the custom offsets, I had a big problem when I had an accident and destroyed two wheels. Forgestar had a three month order backlog, so I ended up having to move to a new set of wheels. Hence, it may not be a bad idea to buy an extra front and rear wheel. Great choice!

Ouch...must've been quite an accident, but yea I'm holding onto my stock rays just in case haha.
