HELP PLEASE GUYS Wheels/tires......
Alright guys, I found the wheels that I want (getting some custom made) but I dont know what widths or offsets that I want/need. I know there are tons of threads on here about offsets and such. However, since they are custom making the wheels they need me to tell them exactly what I want...However, I dont know what I want.
I'm looking for looks only..Im not racing or tracking my car...However, the car is my daily driver so i need it to be able to get through traffic. I hear people mention "hella flush" and "aggressive" but i dont know what that means exactly. I DO WANT BIGGER TIRES ON THE REAR 295 OR 305'S. I have scrolled through pics and like this type of look (pic below)... Hopefully this is enough info for you guys that know a lot more to be able to help me tell the guy what I might want.. If there is anything else you need to know please ask...Wanting to pay for the wheels tomorrow after i get some help from you guys. Thanks!

That is 98 Intrigues car I believe.
He is rocking SSR wheels. Looking at the pic I would say 19x9.5+23 front And 19x11+11 rear. This isn't a super aggressive setup but does look Good. For tires run 255-35-19 front and 305-30-19 rear. The lower the number on the offset (+XX) the more it sticks outwards from the hub. Also a wider wheel with the same offset as a thinner wheel will yield a more aggressive stance as well. Hope that helps. If you want aggressive I would go 19x9.5+15 and 19x11+5 Good luck

"hella flush" is when your lip of the rim is millimeters from the fender and you're running stretched tires. Please for the love of all things that are alive, do NOT do this on a Z. One pothole and 'boom goes the dynamite' so to speak.
ex: the rear rim/tires of this RX7 |

So tires would be 255-30-20 and 305-25-20 tires So if you want aggressive go 20x9.5+22 front and 20x11+11 rear For the best look in my opinion a little more aggressive is 20x9.5+15 and 20x11+5 That RX7 is not hella flush its slammed... Hella flush means a very low offset that sticks out very far from the hub typically past the fender/bumper with a low ride height. That RX7 is 2 inches too low that's the issue not the offset/width which is what the OP is asking about....

Going from our previous conversation:
You will want to run a 9.5 up front and a 11 rear. Since this is your daily driver and you want a good look without going crazy we would be running a low offset 11" rear. (This will allow you to run stock settings with no problems). The front we would run a 9.5" wheel with standard offsets to fit your brakes and still give you a nice lip. With the 9.5" and 11" combo you can run a myriad of tire combinations allowing you the choice of tire brands and sizes. My recommendations 255/305 combo or 265/305 combo. Mike

So you want a flush setup... that would be an 11 +0 and a 9.5+15 with camber arms and coilovers.

Great choice for offsets with a 255/305 tire setup

I'm actually going to hold off for a bit....My budget was $3k...I need to save just a little more to get what I want. In the meantime im going to research a little bit. I have never spent this much for a car item..lol. I think it will be worth it though.
