It's either one or the other OP. You can't have both. Softer rubber equals more grip but also less tread life. If you need more grip for say something like

It's either one or the other OP. You can't have both. Softer rubber equals more grip but also less tread life. If you need more grip for say something like AutoX, I'd buy a another set of wheels and tires setup for that purpose entirely. You'll prob get around 12k-16k miles with the RE-11's depending on how you drive.
