Let's say I wanted to get my nismo rims powder coated gunmetal - cost?

Like the look of the new nismo rims and think they'd look great on my black car.

Would like to add to the end of my project plan

Is that with clearcoat? I've seen dudes with shitty powder rims that chip like hell and look terrible.

Check with Mike on here. He's a sponsor. www.thepowdercoater.com. I'm having problems with a recent powder pat on my S-tune rims and Mike tells me that they didn't cure them long enough. That's probably why your friends are chipping. The place I used does a lot of steel wheels, which hold heat a lot better than aluminum. My place "cooked" the wheels about half as long as Mike does.

He's doing my calipers in a week or two. Too bad he's in Georgia - bit far to travel for a road trip or I'd have him do my wheels too.

Jon (zcarman) had his done in Northern VA, I forgot the name of the shop but he highly recommended them. Reach out to him and he will point you the right direction since you don't want to send your rims to Mike.

Thanks. Think I'll do that. Shipping rims would just be cost prohibitive. I sent ONE wheel via UPS ground to a friend in NC and it cost well over $100 in shipping charges.

whoa no. Shipping wheels isnt 100$ for one. You should be able to ship all 4 for around 100$.

but def see if Mike can do em for ya. Ive seen some wheels he did years ago that still look amazing.

if you get em done in a sorta black chrome sorta scheme, you could get matching door handles, emblems and side markers too

Yes, 2013 Nismo models come with GM rims.
