Do you think a 275 will rub or stick out too far? I just ordered the exact same wheels and offset for the front and was debating going with a 275. I am stock height.

Definitly not. But the car will look like a 4x4 if not lowered some.

Does looking like a 4x4 mean sticking out or really large gaps between the tire and fender? When i think 4x4, i think of my jeep where the tires are sticking out about 6" from my fenders!

A friend of mine that has a Nismo is running RE11's on the stock Nismo rims with 285's in the front! He told me it was a noticable difference from 265's for traction at the autocross. He does autocross a lot. But as far as sticking out too far, no, they don't. But as far as looking like a 4x4, lowering would be recommended! The Swift springs is what i'd recommend for a conservative drop; that is what i used.

Is the 4x4 look due to the gap in the fender, that's one phrase I never understood? I want swifts but I'm holding out for a little.

Yeah, tire to fender gap, not tires outside the bodyline difference.

Yea, you can have the nicest, most expensive rims out there, but wheel gap will just ruin the entire look of the car/wheel dynamic.

And also conversely, have the best drop/ride height in the world, and ruin it by hella-flush retardedness.

I'm running 9.5x19, +25 in the front. and 12x19, +28 in the rear. 275/35-19 and 325/30-19 Mich PSS's. Almost the same hieght as the tires. No spacers, no drop. I'm already beating it off the bump stops during track days. IF I lower it. It will only be a 1/2" with coil-overs.

I'm running a 19x9.5 in the front with 265/35/19 tire. I think its a perfect fit, especially when lowered.
