Default New tires issue

I just had some 245 45 18 firestone firehawk wide ovals put on the rear of my Z. Since then, when doing over 60 or 70 mph it feels like the car wants to fishtail and I can't keep it in a straight line. And when making turns, there is occasionally a grinding sound and the slip indicator comes on, but that happens mostly when I have my VDC on. I was wondering what is causing this.

What tires/size are on the front? Which Type of wide oval? What pressures are you running?

Mismatched tires. This happened to me. I bought matching fronts and the problem was gone.

Oh ok, I was hoping it was as simple as that, I'm just waiting for the fronts to come in. Thanks speed.
