How is a 275 wider than a 285? This is a mm measurement of the tire i thought?

To compound this issue, next year Michelin is going to release the "Super Duper Sport".

Well...I found and purchased a set of lightly used Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires yesterday. They're going on my stock Rays:

255/40-19 Front
285/35-19 Rear

All tires have about 80% tread with perfect beads and no repairs. I picked them up for $350 mounted & balanced!!! How could I pass up on such a deal

What difference does it make?
