From checking tread pattern, they don't appear to be Sport Cups . They look like they are PS2 if you compare with this one and I checked a few other images: 335/25-20 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Tire | Tires | Corvette Parts and Accessories |

285/35/19 MICHELIN PILOT PRIMACY States "Pilot Primacy", but tread pattern is "Sport A/S". |

I just installed the Pilot Sport PS2's on my car and they are great. Keep in mind they get grippier as you put temperature into the tire.

So, if one wants these on their stock rims, they have to move to a 295 in the rear, is that correct?

uh no. You can get the stock tire size put on your rim. What some of the guys are doing (which isn't all too bad of an idea, personal preference) is installing a more "meaty" tire on the car. A little wider and little taller. Also considered filling in the wheel well. I am looking at my next full set next year sometime and lookin for mileage out of these tires but nobody has put up mileage specs.

Thanks. I do understand what the numbers mean but dont have experience of what will exactly fit on my rims. I thought i read that the 295 would fit on the rears but then you posted above and said they wouldnt fit, so i was confused.

They do not make these in a 285 which is what comes on your Nismo. But same for the sport package Z that comes with 275 in the rear. You can go to 295 or even 305 no problem. Although I wouldn't go too big unless you are in it just for looks and don't care for losing a little mpg's in the process un-related to how far you put down your right foot...due to increasing rotational mass. But if you go boosted you could use more meat to help put it to the ground.

Try the Yokohama Ad08 ADVAN Neovas. The 275/35/19 is wider than the stock 285 on the NISMO. Also lighter going wider means more rubber and weight. Tirerack states the are more like a 295. The replacement from sport stock is lighter by about 5 or 6 lbs.
