Default Hankook evo v12's. Is it just me?

Hey guys,
Just replaced the stock Potenza's with some Hankook evo v12's. First impression is that the tires are indeed quieter and offer a more comfortable ride. The cornering, however, is not very good and the sidewall seems pretty soft, like I'm riding on jello?

I'll stick with them until replacement time comes again but will probably look at the Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the future.

Only threads I see on these tires are how great they are.

I ride them... I have no complaints. The tires are super quiet. But I again dont ride my car like a bat out of hell so of course I have not tested the limits of the tire.

I went from the stock Potenza's to the Hankook evo12's and then got the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. The Hankook were definitely quieter and had a smoother ride but the handling sucked. Did not feel confident pushing them hard in a turn or curve. The Super Sports are amazing as a performance tire, much better in my opinion that the others.

Yeah- they're a bit floaty. I've heard it gets better @ 40psi, which I'm going to try this weekend.

Much better noise and treadwear, though.

I felt this too, when new. Not an issue now. It could be that I spend a lot of time in my other dd and my 4x4. Much better wet traction than stock.

I have had these in the past(not on a Z) but they are this way in the begining. After you put some miles on them they will stiffen up.

I've had mine on my car for over a year. I really like them. The noise difference was enough to satisfy me. I don't do much more than a little spirited driving here and there so the softer side walls don't bother me at all.

I will probably switch to something else when I get new wheels, but that's mainly because I will be going with a bigger wheel and my car has gone from a daily driver to a weekend warrior.

I hear your Mayor is going to ban Z's up there in NY in favor of Priusses... along with the salt, the sugar, the 32oz Drinks and Baby Formula... So your Prius should do fine...
