+40 wheel offset

370z 09 touring......can i run a+40 offset up front on a 20x 8.5 and a +40 in rear w a 20x 10? If so will i be flush? Thanks

kenchan 07-15-2012 08:11 PM

that will be sunken in on the front and ridiculously sunken in on the rear especially if lowered.

What offset do i need for that size and width stock height to sit flushed

OMGWTFBBQ 07-15-2012 08:19 PM

This setup is more sunken in than the sport package wheels. Definitely not flush. Go look at other peoples setups and see what wheel size/offset they used. I definitely haven't seen anyone run an aftermarket wheel setup with an offset in the 40's.

These are fun and should help a bit.

40? That's what you would run on a front drive car.

kenchan 07-15-2012 09:17 PM

factory nismo wheels are +40 on the front, but width is 9.5". it's not sunken in, but not 'flush.' it has a perfect tuck imho for stock suspension especially when used on the base (non-nismo).

Mine are 18 and 20 and perfect. 40's , nooo.. Wheels are 9.5 and 11

OMGWTFBBQ 07-15-2012 09:42 PM

I think a 9.5 or 10 +30 would fill up the front quite nicely especially with meaty 275 tires.

kenchan 07-16-2012 10:38 AM

that would stick out too much on stock suspension.
