Does lower sidewall = quicker wear?

i went from 20in SSR SP3's to TE37 SL's and felt a good bump in performance, felt the difference from day 1.
Im not sure how much the SP3's weighted though

How do the SL's compare to stock Ray's? They must be lighter. I went from stock 19's to 20" SP3's and noticed an increase in handling performance (shorter sidewalls), and the car just felt lighter and easier to toss around.

Won't see many 370z race cars with 20s or even 19s. Theres a reason for that. I love lighter 18 inch WedsSports on my car. Saves weight from heavy 19 inch Rays that came on the car stock. I mean these are sports cars right guys? Or ate we just out to pimp our rides? Form and function over fashion if it's a sports car.

I have sweet heavy 20 inch chrome wheels on my SUV where they belong.
