Default TPM warning light flashed, went on steady, then went out

While driving on an interstate, my TPM light suddenly began to flash. While I was in the process of safely getting to a shoulder, the light went steady, then about 30 seconds later went out.

I assume the problem is a temporary loss of radio signal from one of the monitors. However, this sort of issue can be dangerous particularly when driving at high speed.

Has anyone had similar experiences? Is there a way to correct this?

The pressure was ok in the tires?

Mine does this all the time. However I have never seen a drop in any tire pressures. I believe it comes from a sensor being bumped from replacing a tire. I wanna get it swapped out, but since I plan on buying a new set of tires later this year, I'll just have it done then.

Biggest thing is just get yourself a digi tire gauge and keep it in the car. Check every few days or other week, if you notice a severe drop then something is wrong.

Yes, flashing then solid indicates a loss of communication (I get this with my non-TPMS wheels)

If it detects out of range pressure it will beep at you and come on solid right away.
