i got about 1000 miles on mine so far and i love them. all around amazing tire. there's also been some 1/8 and 1/4 mile runs on them and they def have some grip to them for a street tire.

Why would anyone take out brake fuse and vdc? If you have good enough tires the tires wont spin also im upgrading my vdc so I dont have to worry about spinning tires (which only wastes time and rubber) unless your in a burnout contest the less wheel spin the quicker the car goes. Lamans cars have vdc tudor championship series cars(nissan 370Z in this series) have vdc so if race cars that fly around the track use high tech vdc so am I. Anyone ripping out fuses and vdc are dumb and only goung yo waste money on tires needlesly because the poor tires are just standing still spinning and smoking. Which even a slow 83 crown vic could do!

Dude chill, there is good reason if you are going drag the car, burn outs are needed for real sticky tires!!! I think you might want to read a little more on all of this as it relate to the Z. It's a different beast than many sports cars.....

Just wait until you are in the middle of a turn. With the rear just staring to come out as you are rotating the car. Everything feels fine. Then the Nanny God of Auto Correct (VDC) decides to apply a brake on you. To straighten the car out.

Supersports are the only tire that I haven't had to throw away at the end of the summer. Great tires

My rears had to get replaced before I put the z away. I guess I'm just driving harder lol

New pss's will be on this week

I have a random question about the tread pattern on pss's. What's the theory behind having wider tread grooves? the ones that run all the way around the tire. Looking at other tire tread patterns the grooves look narrower than pss's. Does the wider groove help improve a specific characteristic of the tire? Wet handling maybe? Also, I'm gonna be ordering a set of these soon and CAN'T WAIT!!

Check the Tire Rack website.

I've had Super Sports on my car for about a month now and the tires are simply amazing. They make slightly more road noise than I anticipated/hoped but it's still way quieter than my OEM RE050's. They also grip for days and haven't had any issues in rain thus far either. I'm sold on these tires, I'll stick with them until they make something better!
