I will post up what I posted over on the other forum here as well:

I would like to say that the OP is is a very fair and honest person and he is in no way fabricating any part about this as there seemingly is no need, the truth is bad enough as it is.

He honestly did save me what seems would have been a lot of time, money, and heartache in going with a set of Rennen's... He was not telling me "no" from the start; just that he is getting a few things resolved with them and to just possibly wait and see how they work with him in this customer service/warranty issue before I place such an expensive order with them. He wanted to be sure of what he was representing and again, was just being honest to me (for that I thank you again very much!!!).

He actually would have been a great promoter of Rennen as well as he was showing everyone at meets and shows the different Rennen lines on his iPad of their wheels and the options they have for finishes and what he has chosen to go with. This generated a lot of interest in their line (granted this was one of the time periods that he was still hopeful that they were an upstanding company), so it is unfortunate for them that it has turned out this way.

I just honestly cannot believe that they are doing this over such little cost when they have delayed so much and basically lied to him. There was a point (not sure if he mentioned it in the novel above or not) that they even lost his wheels for about a month, literally lost them.

In this experience for Rennen, they have lost a customer in me that was ready to put down close to $5K for a new setup from them (wheels alone). Haha, and I know it does not take them that much to make... so in handling this so poorly, they have already lost way more than the amount they are trying to rob him out of in holding his wheels hostage... they fact that they are saying they will sell his wheels to someone else is honestly WAY TOO FAR...

I just dont understand why wheel companies do not understand what they have to do to stand out among the rest and build confidence in people so they will spend top dollar for these designs, which at this point is simply being honest and making a quality product and sticking behind it. It is pathetic to even say that it would be what makes them stand above the rest in this industry but it is very sadly true at this point (even though it should be the basis of any business)... Wheel companies that sell original products for far less have such a better business mind for this than these companies, NOW RENNEN IS AMONG THEM, that really are embarrasing when it comes to what they should be doing to stand out for these costs and fail at miserably.

I really hope Rennen can step in at this point, handle this situation correctly, make a stance on where they stand in this industry and move forward with a better business mindset and stop the bleeding on this situation. OP is a very persistant person who most likely will not put this to rest until something is resolved or if not, then at least everyone knows of it in any way possible. He has had such bad luck lately with stuff like htis and I feel awful that it has happened to him, but as far as thoroughly getting stuff done and doing it correctly; he is a very steadfast and determined man so I hope Rennen can just step up and be simply not like the rest of these forged wheel companies that have been failing the industry for so long.

Look at what Rennen had the nerve to post on the same forum but not respond in any way to the thread:

This is disconcerting.. it seems a lot of US based wheel manufactures seem to be having these problems. What is even more amazing is that these companies expect each of us to throw down our hard earned money ($4k plus) on a product and service that is anything less than stellar is absurd. Companies need to realize that we don't need them they need us. I bought my high end wheels used, but these threads make me second guess going with the same caliber of wheels whenever I decide to get new wheels again. We put up with long ordering processes on these "custom built" wheels and huge prices you would think the companies could at least provide service matching the caliber of these wheels

These guys could all take a lesson from someone like Fast Intentions. Tony comes on this forum, markets a great product, stands behind it, and delivers when he says. What happens? He sells a half million dollars plus of exhausts, or more.
Simple concept, simple but effective business model.

I'll chime in on that bout Tony too.. I don't have FI but I've never heard anything negative about the service or the product he provides.. People will wait for a quality product if they are kept in the loop and told the expectations from the beginning.. This is something that I haven't seen the wheel manufacturers grasp.. Aside from the big Japanese companies, Vossen and maybe HRE

Definetly go see some lawyers!
You'll probably get some interest since they kept you waiting and did not keep their word.
Make sure you get money for them making you wait; not being able to drive your G since you did not have rims. All those other goodies.
Business is business and this is very low for a company that even sponsered you..
Guess times are rough aye?

I'd like to point something else out. Go read those texts that this guy Richard sent, and then read Tony's posts and compare the grammar. Tony's character is completely different than Richards. I'm not trying to be judgmental, but anyone in management, especially a GM, should never respond to customers like that. Just take the time to type "you" instead of U. In my opinion Richard doesn't have a shred of professionally, and just by reading those texts, I wouldn't have confidence in his intelligence, and therefore wouldn't do business with him because he sounds like a dumbass scumbag. I don't want to give thousands of my hard-earned dollars to a dumbass scumbag. When I talked to Tony, I was immediately impressed by the type of person he was, and had absolutely no problem giving him almost $3000 and waiting 3 months for my exhaust.

Rennen needs to wake up and realize that they won't stay in business like this for long. I personally will never buy anything from them just because of the personality Richard has portrayed for himself. My 15 year old brother uses better grammar than him, and it sounds like he could run the company better as well.

Also speaking of Tony I bought my exhaust a year ago and called him up during the middle of the day to ask his opinion on a unrelated topic (not about things he sells)and he talked to me for 45 minutes and really filled in the blank about the pros and cons of what we were talking about, now you want to about a great guy to do business with.

There is no case here. No contract. No legal timeline. If they were local to each other, small claims court would be the only real option. Since they aren't local AND there wasn't a credit card in play to try to get a charge back on, I think the OP is just screwed..

The problem with flaming away on the forums is it is hard to undue the posts. The company may feel there is no benefit to settling with you since the online damage is done. If their business really does fall off from forums (who knows what % of their business came from these anyway), they will just reform as a new company name and start again.

Default 6/23 update

Guy's Thanks for all the posts and support.

I posted this thread on several forums. MyG37, G35Driver, The370z & G35NYC I also linked it to their facebook page in the hopes I would get their attention.

Rich txt me at 7am yesterday morning saying to call him we needed to talk about getting my wheels to me yesterday. I figured that I now had their undivided attention....

I called him in the morning and Rich starts to apologize saying he had a bad day and that he wasnt trying to say he was gona sell my wheels only that he was gona refund me for me waiting or some BS like that. It made no sense at all, he was just trying to save face! He then has the nerve to ask me what would make me happy??? Are you kidding me, after all this crap you have the nerve to ask... I tell him I wanted my wheels and would only pay the money I owed him for the shipping labels $130. Only because they fronted it and of course it makes me look good but nothing else. This was at 10am as I was getting a coffee.

He calls me back several times throughout the day asking me to take down the threads and I refuse, I send him links to individual posts go they can grasp the severity of the matter and stress the best thing for both parties is to get this resolved immediately.

I bring up DPE's similar issue recently and what they did to resolve it, and of course thats too much and they arent willing to do that. The $400 it would cost to over night me the wheels is too much! So they would rather these threads keep running smearing their name.. NO PROBLEM!!! I tell Rich fine but I wanted my wheels shipped 2/3 day air yesterday! There is no reason to wait. This was at 12noon

5pm I hear from Rich telling me that he will get my wheels out but I need to pay the $130. I damn near explode!!!!!! They are holding my wheels now for the $130 I offered to pay, talk about putting your foot in your mouth. There is no point yelling anymore, if they wana drag this out thats fine but I will not pay anything unless my wheels are shipped. Or course he says they will ship. But they catch is, they dont take Credit Ccards, nor do they take PayPal anymore. Only BANK WIRE!!! Hmm I wonder why...

Bank Wires dont allow you to dispute and get your money back. Every other source allows customer to have a legal dispute with the company. So this has turned into some really shady sh*t. Just to get it resolved I got to my bank to send the wire, and its $30. I called them back for 45min trying to reach someone and finally Rich calls me back. There is no way im paying $30 to send $130 thats just stupid... He tells me to send a western union in someones name and he'll have them pick it up. WHO? No company account.. He wants it sent in an individuals name! WTF... But when I press him about the tracking info for my wheels he tells me. "Come on bro, im doing the best I can. Its out of my hands! WE HAVE TO CALL A TRUCK AND YOUR WHEELS WILL COME ON A PALATE." HE SAYING THEY WONT SHIP TILL MONDAY AND IF THEY COME ON A PALATE IT WILL BE MORE THAN A WEEK BEFORE I GET THEM.

I told Rich to put his FLAME SUIT ON, because RENNEN INTERNATIONAL is gona get burned this weekend. I will make this the BIGGEST PR NIGHTMARE in their companies history! Even after all of this they still didnt ship my wheels out. How hard is it to Ship them UPS like I did the 1st time. I know they have an account with UPS, they are being cheap. So as a result this thread is going up on STANCENATION and any other forum I can think of.

I will keep you guys up to date on the progress!
