Do most people replace rears first and then fronts later?
I'm on the Advans and I need new rears but the fronts can go a bit longer. So is that what most do? Rears first and the fronts a bit later? I'm used to Quattro Audis where you always had to do all four at once. Inside of rears are to wear bars and outside is slightly above them. It's a 2010 Nismo that I got at 16k miles and have 20k now.

I would say all four at the same time especially if you are going to change brand/type of tire. You might be ok changing just the rears as long as if it's with the exact type you have on there now.

Unless you have excessive camber wear in the fronts compared to the rears, like me, I don't see a problem changing out the rears only if they are wearing more. For optimum performance, try and change them all out at the same time

I have so far replaced fronts & rears at the same time.
Last time because I was going with a different brand and this time because my rears are 95% gone and my fronts are 85% gone and figure it is easier to just buy them all now.

I swapped the rears at 17k.
Was surprised when I changed for new wheels/tires that the fronts were already done at 20k. I may get even less life out of my newer tires, though. I drive it like I stole it. |

just put my second set of rears on, when these are cooked, fronts should be close enough to cooked to replace all 4.
I think peeps get a little overzealous freaking out about changing just two of style brand etc. Will it be perfectly matched in compounds and wet weather etc? no. It's a freakn' 370. We all like hanging the *** out when conditions permit. If you don't want to, don't disable the stability control. *** If you are trying to put the fastest lap times with a near perfectly balanced handling car then yes, keep with the OEM plan of compounds (or better) and size/stagger.
