Default TPMS flashing on overflated tires?

Does the TPMS light flash with overflated tires? I swear I saw my light flashing for about 5 sec Since they aren't flat, I assume it is because they might be over 40psi? DOes anyone know if overflation cause the TPMS to go for? Or is it a bug on my car?

Negative. TPMS only turns on for underinflation or error.

WTF, I must have an error code in my system or something. It flashed a few times and it disappeared again.

Mine is doing this too... It's off, then after a bit of driving it blinks at you, and then goes solid. Then after 10 minutes or so, it turns off. Does this about every 30 minutes...

At least, that's what mine is doing ^^^

I believe it's from a dislodged sensor from tire installation. Not 100% sure but I bought 4 new sensors and had them installed when I had 2 tires replaced. System worked. I had to replace another tire a week later and then it started up. I'm almost convinced that's what it is.

You might wanna take it by a dealer or a Discount Tire and just get the system re-synched and see if that helps?

yah, even on a 35psi cold tire, it can reach 40+ on a hot summer day if air is used. tpms should not light up for that.

with high psi comes higher impact energy and vibration for tpms. might be causing the circuit/battery to flicker or something?
