Default steering noise after installing spacers

hi all, i recently put on some 20mm spacers all around and when i turm my steering wheel sometimes it makes this metalic grinding noise

ive only noticing it happen after 20 mins of freeway drive and comes to a stop and go traffic, then i start to hear it when i turn my steering wheel a bit.

this doesnt happen all the time though, so i am a bit confused if its the spcers that are causing the problem.

also the noise seems to come from the steering wheel and not the wheels, i can also feel vibration on the steering wheel even a bit on the gas petal.

any ideas?

bolt-on type spacers on the front? if so, take them off, inspect the wheel disc area. chances are you have the longer stock studs and your wheel is not seated correctly.

I have bolt on spacers on the rear and the non bolt ons for the front. I had a "shimming" affect on the drive home and car felt really unstable. Took front wheels off, made sure the hub piece in the middle was on correctly/completely with a rubber mallet, put everything back on and no more issues.
