with the assumption that if you lower the car you do get your alignment back into spec with the correct camber arms and such, I see no reason why anyone can't get 20k miles on their tires. Sure, if you take every corner like you are on a track you are going to wear them out much quicker, but if it's your daily driver then 20k miles is not unreasonable.

Personally I drive pretty laid back most of the time. about 5-10% of the time I'll drive aggressively. I got over 25k miles out of the stock sentra se-r spec-v tires that came on the '08's. I believe they were continential conti-sport 2's or something like that with low tread depth brand new and a very low treadwear rating.

I too am trying to decide on wheel sizing. I'm sticking with 18's (Forgestars) but I love the offset of the new Nismo wheels.

Anybody know the offset of the new Nismo wheels? The search function isn't helping.

18's look too small go 19's at least

18's are better performers, and that's why I'm getting them. Tires are cheaper, too.

Apologies for my ignorance, but when you say a tire is "stretched" what does that mean exactly? I know that a "fat" tire is when the tire is bulging out of the rim sidewalls. Is "stretched" the opposite?

:)

that's just looking for a blow out, way past the normal tire pressure to make it like that

go wider then 10 in the back , u need at least a 10.5 , im gonna go with an 11

OutCast|Z 07-11-2009 04:49 PM

It will be just a street car, I don't need nothing to fancy or flashy I want simple and clean. if I have to I will space it out to make it even, but 9 in the front and 10 in the back is all I need.

CrownR426 07-11-2009 08:47 PM

how's 19x10 19x11?

OutCast|Z 07-12-2009 01:59 AM

I say get what YOU like.
My opinion is as long as you have inch wider in the back (x10 vs x11) who cares? Its your money and your car you have to look at it and drive it everyday.
So if you want 19x8 and 19x9's or 19x100 and 19x200 (sarcasm) if you think its looks good go for it.
