update...102 days later, still no wheels.

I know we have joked about this several times, but what are you going to do about this? Do you have an idea of how long you will wait before you reverse this mess?

last update is that they are powdercoated and waiting for the managers go-ahead to pinstripe but he just didn't show up to work yesterday so the wheels just sat another day. The guy I talked to said they should pinstripe today, and ship monday.

Did you tell them to take a cell phone picture and send it to you? :icon17:

I would say go with a thinner stripe but thats just me I suppose. Just enough to accent the edge of the rim, to pull your eye from the car to the rim.

It will look great once you have a drop on there...not saying it doesnt look great now.

the pinstripe is pretty small, not nearly as large as the photochopped pics. I prefer the thin pinstripe as well :tup:

Drop is already done btw, and I've already got tires ready to mount up, just waiting patiently (I've been told TOO patiently a million times now) for the wheels. :rolleyes:

since the rim is all black and tires are black too.

the white pin stripe will look like white wall tire...lol
like those senior citizen mobiles.....ha

Im still waiting for my wheels to get the gold pin stripe done just like yours, so I know how you feel about waiting patiently.

If you do any kind of pinstripping please do it red.
Leave it clean and get like red brakes, that's the cleanest!

so at what point do you think you will just want a refund and order a new set of rims? have they at least cut you some sort of discount

They are supposed to ship monday at this point, but that is "if everything stays on schedule" which has never happend in the past so I have no expectations.

I think even though most pinstripes are red they would look really sick on your white 370.

I think that the white is to subtle although red is excessivly common I still think it looked the best. What do you think about blu???

Nothing else on my car is blue or red, so I'm not sure it would look good like that. I prefer the subtleness of the white since it won't draw away anyones attention from the great looking wheel design and finish.

They are finally on a truck, will be delivered tomorrow along with my SPC rear camber arms (Thanks DDM for the quick processing and shipment of those).

I should have them mounted Saturday with pics.

To me, the wheels that appear on the right look more glossy than the ones on the left. That could be attributed to the lighting.

3 of them look fantastic (both rears and one front), but one of the wheels was more of a satin finish compared to the 3 gloss finish. I sent pictures to Mike and he talked forgestar into sending me a replacement. So I am mounting them up as-is and forgestar is making me a new one and sending it when they get it done.

They also still send me the old centercaps even though I was supposed to get the new ones, so hoping they send me new ones with that 1 new wheel.

Besides that issue, they look really good and I can't wait to see them on the car.

hopefully they sort it out sooner rather than later

i thought the same when he posted the pics in the useless thread, but i wasnt sure if it was just the lighting and the way the pics were taken but caravan confirmed my initial response...

caravan, not to take away from your happiness of finally getting your long over due wheels, but i honestly would not tolerate such inferior service or product from a company that makes rims for a living...:shakes head:

Too bad, really. The wheel design, weight and price are great, but the service and quality are full of fail.
