1.27 cm = 12.7 mm
Which means. Mild- 20x9(+9) 20x10.5(+22) Aggressive 20x9(+5) 20x10.5(+0)----- Best choice in my opinion. Very Aggressive 20x9(-1) 20x10.5(-5) I think I starting to get this. Last edited by cooltoy; 08-07-2013 at 02:57 PM. |

I am interested in this as well. I have a 2011 Nismo dropped on Ark Springs 1.5" F and 1.25" R Interested in going with a 20" setup with factory camber settings, or as close as possible with a meaty tire setup NO STRETCH and little to no rubbing. So what wheel specs and tire specs do I need? Currently I am on factory Nismo wheels with 265/30/19 and 295/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's. Thanks guys.

So, I have been doing some more learning.
This is what I came up with. For a front rim which is 0.5" narrower/2 = 0.25" = 0.635 mm. To equal the number of mm the wheel would stick out for a 9" rim versus a 9.5" front rim, the numbers should look like this. Mild- 20x9(+16) 20x10.5(+22) Aggressive 20x9(+12) 20x10.5(+0) Very Aggressive 20x9(+6) 20x10.5(-5) Correct? |

i dont know about very aggressive on stock height because it will just look wrong.
here's some targets: Mild- 20x9(+32) 20x10.5(+24) Aggressive 20x9(+27) 20x10.5(+12) for stock height, don't go too aggressive. it will make your car look lifted especially on 20's because your tire profile is that much thinner. the rule of thumb is for the gap to be 1/2 of the height of the side wall when dropped, unless you are going to run mild setup and have about the same gap as the sidewall height. if you go slammed, then obviously you can go more aggressive and run more negative camber but your car will ride like crap on the streets. you're best bet is to run 19's instead as you can keep a taller sidewall and the gap will not be so pronounced. ck my albums page. |

The rears can work... but for 20's I would do ET20-25 for 10.5 width. |

Crap. I so don't want to drop with an Amuse kit. I wouldn't be able to get into my garage probably. What about going with 20 x 8.5 (+35). That's only 6 mm further out then stock. Or is 8.5 going to mess with the handling and balance? Last edited by cooltoy; 08-07-2013 at 09:25 PM. |

8.5 ET35 is going to be tucked in. for 8.5, you'll probably want ET27-30 range for conservative.
if you are planning to use the 10.5 ET15 rears with the 8.5 ET35 fronts, your car will have good straightline stability, but your cornering will suffer a little bit. my recommendation is that if you want stock height, run 19's. |

Kenchan,
What would you recommend for a 20" set up with a 1.5" drop front 1.25" rear with stock camber arms? Wanting to stay as close to stock camber settings and with a meatier tire set up. Thanks for the info!
