plastdipped my rims
1 Attachment(s)
I plastidipped my rims yesterday. I am extremely happy with the outcome. I did about 5 coats which was roughly 2 1/2 cans. It'll hold me over for a while to save up some money for some new rims.
Sorry for the bad picture....I'll try to get some better one's tomorrow. |
Ok I guess I'm sold now. I have a red with sport wheels and I've been on the fence...
I'm gonna go for it. I've already did the fangs and rear. Guess rims and door handles are next... But I'm still in for more pics... I am worried about getting even coats woth the complex design of the wheels |
I would go for it for sure. I've had it for like a day and gotten more compliments on my car than the 2 months I've had it.
as long as you take your time and apply enough coats you can get it pretty much perfect. If you are super anal I would be hesitant. I would say anywhere from 5 feet out they look perfect. If you get really close you can see imperfections but for 18 bucks and 3 hours of my time I couldn't be happier. Good luck and I'll get some more pics up tomorrow. Unfortunately it is raining or I'd be out looking for some more compliments. :happydance: |
Damn can't see anything in that pic.
