Hey KapitalZ,

How do you like the setup of 255/45/R18 on the front and 275/40/R18? I have a 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 ordered for a staggered setup. It looks like that combination provides the closest diameter to stock. Do you find the tires you have are too small for the wheel? I'm currently stuck trying to decide the right size. Guess I'm a stickler for wanting close to stock size therefore there is no change in speedometer or anything else like that. I am definitely a noob when it comes to changing wheel size on a car. My last car I just used tire rack to choose my new setup. I've seen so many posts on this forum but it seems like more people were interested in looks rather than trying to remain close to stock height. I also want to avoid any lights on the dash.

Ordered WEDSport SA10R.
18x9.5 +38
18x10.5 +25

Was recommended by Vivid Racing to run 265/35/R18 on front and 285/35/R18 on rear. Of course when I ran the tire size calculator, it seemed to changed the specs pretty drastically. Using tiresize.com to calculate the dimensions.
Anyone have any insight?

Why would you want to replicate the trash stock setup?

I hope vivid has good refund policy

Tire rack recommendations are terrible

The wheels were recommended by vivid. But for the wheels, i need to choose tire size. I'm trying to remain in the same diameter to maintain speedometer accuracy. I also want to avoid any abs issues.
Any suggestions for the wheels above?

Like i said.

A refund.

and you should do your own research instead of relying on Vivid or Tire Rack . . . neither of whom specializes in our particular chassis

I mean just as general advise, you should learn how tire and wheel sizing works before giving anyone $2000.

Heh thanks for your insight. I've been trying to research all week. I have asked multiple sources. Read through this post, reason why i posted here. Used tire size webpage to try and calculate the dimensions to try and stay close to oem diameter. Thanks for the help

God Daamnn! That's a good looking setup. Looks pretty flush in the front, I also saw that they have a +20 offset as well. What are your guy's thoughts on a +20 offset?

Gonna need more camber to avoid rub, especially with a 275

the track guys that are using 18x10.5 +18 (or thereabouts) with a 275 are at around -3 camber

Just look at the last picture and you can see the available clearance. Another 10mm outward . . . well, you should see the problem

Yeah, I see the problem, just wanted to double check before I made a decision on which one to get.

Thanks for the info, I didn't even know the guys had to run -3 camber for that setup.

LMAO, like OZ said track setup! I am on 18x11 +18 and 18x10.5 +15 (after spacers) and run -3.3 front and around -2.2 rear. For street I have ran at -2.5 front and -1.8 rear.

You really need to get educated or just have faith that we that know something won't steer you wrong and will call out those that will.
