Alright, guys. I've read myself in to a stupor trying to figure out what offsets to get and am asking the group to weigh in with their thoughts. I've read, and read, and read myself in to an offset coma. Please, help a brother out.

I'm looking at 18" SSR GTV02s and I've settled on 9.5" for the front and 10.5" in for the rear. I made notes while reading through this thread, as well as others, and I think I should go with a 35mm offset in the front (22mm is also an option) and a 15mm offset in the rear. I am on Swift springs, with SPL rear camber arms and lock out bolts. I would like to be near flush. No poke at all. Will these offsets get me what I'm looking for?

Also, regarding tires, I'm considering 245/45 in the front and 275/40 in the rear, as these sizes would keep the overall diameter close to stock, as well as the sidewall height. I'd like to go wider, especially in the rear, but then it just starts throwing things out of whack. Thoughts?

All that noted, I really appreciate anyone sharing their advice and feedback. I'd like to go ahead and make my purchase soon.

Just took these today hope they help. For flush i would consider 19s. I have swift springs and its 19x 9 et 10 upfront and 19x10.5 et 10 in back, im knocking the backs out 5mm. I also have sport comp 2 tires and they have a really wide tread width those are only 245 and 285. Camber is 1.4 front 1.6 rear

If you do want 18s for flush on swifts you can run some offsets close to 10, I also think 18s you could run some tire poke and be okay. Hope this helps!

If you run on stock tire width you will be stretching. I've got 9.5 front and 10.5 rear on 18s. Just something to look out for.

That offset front wheel will extend out 27mm more than base wheels and the rear wheels at +15 would extend outwards 19 mm more than base rear wheels. You might have a tiny amount of poke up front but it should be pretty flush. The rears shouldn't poke at all.

Used the offset calculator at 1010 tires to figure this out. If you have base wheels just take a tape measure out and see where your wheels would be if they stuck out an extra 27mm and do the same for the rear. If you have a sport then ignore this post.

Beautiful NISMO, EzDz. Really appreciate you posting that pic, as it really shows how your wheels are set up. I've considered 19s, but I'm good with the 18s and, in general, the tires are less expensive. Thanks for the feedback and information!

I'll be stepping up in tire size from 225s to 245s in the front and from 245s to 275s in the back. I'm hoping that the 275s are wide enough for the 10.5 rear wheels, as I don't want the tire stretched. I've looked at a few tire calculators and think it will work pretty well, but thanks for your post and for the insight. Much appreciated.

Thanks, TN.Z. I'm running base 18" wheels, so the numbers you shared are extremely helpful in my decision. I just measured and, if a +35 offset in the front on a 9.5" wheel sticks out an extra 27mm, this will look great. The rears will look great with an extra 19mm too. From one Tennessean to another, thanks!

Oh you have the stock 18s! When I meant stock I was referring to the Sport Rays. 245/45 front and 275/40 rear are stock for those. That's what I have now and they are still a little stretched. I have pictures on this post somewhere.

Well my friend i think the best option is 18x9.5+22 front and 18x10.5+15 rear.. at least i preferred that option. Here is a pic of my Z for reference if you dont see this pic before.

image2 by Carlos Berrios, on Flickr

My wheels are 18x9.5+12 front and 18x10.5+22 rear with a 20mm spacers on the rear soo the offset of the rear wheels now is +2 I have to install the spacers on the rear cause the any shop have the 18x10.5+15 rear wheels on stock but im happy with the results anyway

Tires are 255/40/18 front & 285/35/18 rear

I hope that help

My 18" wheel set up is:
Enkei RPF1
Front: 18x10 +38(15mm spacer making it +23) wrapped in a (275/40/18)
Rear: 18x10.5 +15 wrapped in a (315/35/18)

My front looks perfect, it's better than my rear because the rims face is more flush with the fender. SO, you can run as low as a 15mm spacer but you will forsure need a smaller tire than what I use because my 315 is flush. 285/40/18 out back is what I would go with and up front a 22 ofsset 255/45. Than just use spacers and camber to touch up the gaps.

Hey guys. I know there's not as many people out there running 18s on the 370. I figured I'd toss a pic up (sorry, just a Note 5 camera phone pic) of my Z running 18s. Mainly to help with those newer, using the search options and trying to gather information. I know a large amount of people on this forum don't like set ups like mine. That's perfectly fine, but there are those who do and the information is lacking for them.

Fronts are 18x10.5 with a big negative offset. Rears are 18x12 with a small negative offset. Fronts took camber, tire stretch, fenders rolled, and liners out to make functional. I still will be lowering the rear slightly and taking a bit of camber out but you get the idea for now.

Thanks so much for the specs and the pic of your Z. Really like your set up, Carlos, so I'm going to have to rethink the original offsets that I listed. You've got a beautiful Z, bro! Appreciate you taking the time to post and help me out!

keepers of the 18" wheels; will 18x9.5 +30 square work on a base Z? I assume the brakes will be fine, but offset maths still confuse me

thanks in advance

Default 18's on a 370z

The fronts would extend the face outward 32mm and the rears would retract the face 9mm. You would definitely want spacers I would think for the fears. Fronts should be good maybe a little poke
