I was running 285/35-18 on streets and 275/35-18s on slicks at the track and along with being lowered, I scraped the underside of my stillen bumper enough to grind down the bolts that hold the undertray on and ruined the bumper.
Now I run 295/40-18 slicks and back to 19s for the street. Yesterday, I noticed that I was also bottoming out in the back of the car too

I went on a cruise on some backroads with some of the local guys and kept bottoming out. At one point there was a dip in the road immediately after the top of a hill and I thought I slammed my whole front lip into the ground. Luckily though it was mostly the edge of the undertray and only the bottom of my Evo-R lip.

I don't know. I think it was 1.5" originally, then I had the alignment shop raise it up a little. I run tank tires now, at 295/40-18, so its no issue anymore. The old tires were 2" shorter than stock.

Man I just ordered some 18's for my G37 Coupe and I'm having a helluva time picking the right tire size. If you guys think you have it bad on finding people with 18" sizes check the G Forums it's practically 20" or bust lol.
This is my current tire dilemma, if any of you guys have input I would be glad to take it, all silent on the G forum front and I would like to get this figured out before the wheels get off the slow boat from Japan. Have you used them before? My experiences on my old 19" GTS on my Z were mixed, I had GForce KDW2's that were so-so and some Vredesteins that were pretty good all around. A lot of reviews I keep reading aren't giving the Falkens or Hankooks much praise but they come in pretty much the exact size I was looking to run. On the other hand PSS's are apparently like having your wheels wrapped in baby jesus and the Vreds would be shear girth but not in the sidewall I wanted to run. Which would you run given the situation?
