Cool, where did you buy the Enkei's from?

Hubcentric spacers for the hub with hubcentric rings on the spacer to fit the wheel bore is the ideal method. That's what I did with mine. The hub rings are so cheap that they are worth it in every scenario. The hubcentric spacers are more expensive though. Still a good peace of mind.

Ahh never knew that. Ok so rotor is 65.9ish but doesn't matter because ill be buying spacers made for my car so I know they'll fit. Eibach for example says the bore is 66.10 ID. Obviously they will fit with a 0.2mm difference. But what's the outside bore that fits into the wheel? Would that be back down to 65.9 like the rotor? I found rings 66.05mm ID, 73mm OD. Seems to close since the wheel is 73mm.

chrischhorn 07-05-2013 01:03 PM

Hubcentric spacers will have basically the same bore lip as the vehicle. A hubcentric spacer of 66.1mm will have a 66.1mm bore kn the outer side also. I was running 15mm hubcentric spacers on the front. Then had hubcentric rings on the spacers. I no longer have the spacers on the vehicle but the hubcentric rings still fit perfect on my hub and wheels.

BUMP! Anyone running these bad boys yet from Work? The MCO type CS. I'm definitely Interested in these...They also offer quite a few choices for sizes that would fit our cars, with "medium" and "deep" wheel face options

Dcocci 12-06-2014 08:47 PM

^^Sooooo I have my set of Work MCO racing type CS wheels. 18x10.5 all around. +20 up front +12 rear. 285/35r18 RS3's. Stock suspension for now. Mexiflush up front by maybe an inch. No rub. Rears fit perfect. Coilovers and SPL camber arms are next up on the mod list.:excited:

I want to drop down from 19s to 18s on my car, but have the sports package on swift springs. Will 18s fit over the brakes and will it lower my car?

martin82 12-08-2014 01:20 PM

depending on wheel design then you wont have a problem, pf01, nt03, te37's etc or similar concave will fit fine over the brakes

Hey i'm looking into an 18x10.5 rim for my rears. What will an offset of 27mm do in terms of looks? I'm trying to avoid using spacers. I'm looking for a meaty look similar to CCastro's Z back in the second page. I'm lowered on Swift springs.

hjo1078 02-08-2015 11:14 AM

It will be a little bit sunken in the well.

daaaangit. I'm trying to get some apex arc-8s. ~$1200 for 18s under 21lbs seems like I steal. I just hope they take custom orders. What would be a good offset as to where I have a maybe a finger's worth of gap between the tire and the wheel well?

RPF1s are awesome, there's a reason they sell so well and are on 1/2 the cars at any given track day.

Are you talking about the gap outwards or the gap from the top of the tire to the wheel well (for which aspect ratio will matter, not offset)

josemartinrea 02-08-2015 09:38 PM

Outwards gap. Scott@synergy's gap looks fine. Would +12 look okay as well? I think I have the ratio covered. I'm running a tall tire and a swift spring drop.

Gaps gonna depend on camber too. Mines -1.5. Zero would close the gap a lot.

If your're interested im selling my 17.4lbs fronts! If you buy rears like I said you'd only be at less than $1200 for a way lighter wheel.

josemartinrea 02-09-2015 06:34 AM

Hmm. I'm still in the process of deciding which wheels I want to get. But I will def PM you if I decide on the rpf1s! Does curb rash come free with them? Haha

josemartinrea 02-09-2015 06:37 AM

Oh wait they're 19s. I'm looking for 18s. Cheaper tires and more variety. Sorry! BUT. I do know someone looking to put light 19s on his 350z. I'll def let him know.

Was this for me? I have 18's

boosted180 02-13-2015 11:22 AM

Can someone make a recommendation for me? I'm getting the Forgestar F14 18x9.5 front and 18x10 rear. What offsets should I order for a *close* to flush fit (not exactly flush, but just close to it). I'm planning on running 255 40 18 fronts and 285 35 18 rears. If I stay with the stock 9" width for the front wheels, the 255 should still not be a problem, right? I cant decide b/t going up 1/2" to 9.5" or just staying at 9". Let me know what you guys think...

Well my friend!!! i dont have 18"wheels but basing on my wheels set up I have 19x9.5+12 front and 19x11+15 rear... love how it looks the car with those offset... and if im not wrong the same wheels that i have but in 18" comes with the same offset 18x9.5+12 and 18x10.5+15... looks flush and really good in my opinion....

BTW my rear tires are 285/35/19 and works with 0 issues...

I hope someday to buy some 18"

Thanks. Do you have pics of your car? I'm sure the wider tires would fit both front and rear. My question was should I got up to 9.5" in the fronts for the wheel width or stay with 9". Any advantages/ disadvantages? The one small disadvantage is that the 9.5 weighs half a lb. more per wheel than the 9". But there should be less sidewall flex under load for 9.5"? Cant decide...

Go 9.5+. I was and now I'm 10.5. I run a 285 and one day I'll even go bigger. I've got some 17.4lbs 9.5's if interested. The car can handle a lot up there so don't down play it only to be disappointed down the road. 255's to small, just run square in the tires and try to run square for the wheels.
