Would it be ok to run a 275/40/18 tire on a 18x11 wheel or will it look too stretched?

I also like the fact that these tire sizes will stay true to OEM diameter at 26.7 each and since I'm already lowered more than enough on Coilovers with my current set up, I rather not go with a lower diameter tire.

Thanks.

Did you go with 275/40’s on the 18x11’s? Photos? I am debating the same thing right now.

Nothing confusing here! That looks great!

to each their own, but IMO, 18's don't fit/flow with the 370Z. the 370Z is too wide/tall for 18's and just doesn't seem proportionate with the car.

A friend has these wheels, they look nice in person but they aren't light.

That's interesting. I remember hating how big the 19's looked the first time I saw the car in 2009. It really comes down to personal preference I guess. No one thing will look good to everyone.

AlWakRa 01-11-2020 01:01 PM

I found it, this is when I tried them on my car.

That looks great, but makes me wonder how low must that demo car be?
Demo car also on thicker sidewalls. The tires look like ad08. maybe 265/35 or 265/40

AlWakRa 01-11-2020 03:27 PM

Not sure, but I feel the sidewall looks a bit higher, also less camber on front (this make a lot of difference to the look).

But that concavity is sweet, my friend actually wanted ze40 first, as I have 19" set and he admired them a lot, but we didn't find them stocked.

Not true. We all think the 370Z looks good.

Just not on 18’s.
