Wow, 18s ze40 looks hot in this size and volk bronze, it looks much better than Volk 370z photos with gunmetal blue.

I’m stock height/suspension and wanting to run a 275 40 18 square on Konig Hypergrams for daily and some autocross.

They come in 18x9.5 +25 or 18x10.5 +25.

From what I’ve read on here this tire size/combo should fit with no rubbing up front. I’m leaning toward the 9.5 square width to minimize tire stretch. I will be running a spacer in the rear.

Any recommendations on which wheel size to get to optimize performance on this tire size?

If you are looking at Nexens, they will not look stretched on 10.5

Get the 10.5. It doesnt matter for appearance but the 10.5 will perform better.

Your car looks great in the pics above by the way. I did notice you were running 275s on a 10.5 wheel.

A wider wheel will give you a larger, flatter contact patch. Essentially you use more of the tire. A little tension on the sidewalls will also provide better, sharper turn in and more precise steering response. If you are looking to run the normal 275 or 285 square sizes, a 10.5 will be perfect. I'd run 11" if i could.

:iagree::iagree::iagree: If you want to see what 18x11 +18 with 315 30 tire look like go to post 530 and continue to scroll down from there. I love the setup and you don't have to run extreme camber if you don't want too. I believe I was running -2.0 or -2.2.

Just found that post! Car looks mean with that fitment. Part of me still can’t believe the car will fit a 10.5 +25 with a 275 tire upfront with stock suspension/alignment. But I’ve seen enough posts with it done (albeit mostly with modified suspension) to try and give it a shot. Hopefully it doesn’t poke because the z is my daily.

It will poke without camber.

Thanks for the input guys! I will be modifying my plans slightly to manage the poke. I’ll follow up with pics when everything is fitted to the car.
