Silver is mine and to not stray too far off topic, the red car is owned by a member of a 370 group on, on facebook so don't want to take credit.

Silver = 19F/20R
Red = 19F/18R

I really don't see why anyone would go 18 when the factory provides different 19 inch options. The body itself has big enough arches that it takes an 19 or 20 to fill them up properly visually

there are reasons to use 18 on the track, obviously, but most folks aren't tracking

so it comes down to folks cheaping out

noob on 18s, I like the 19s and the originally rays, but I need to get winter tires and want to have another set of wheels for them, so I was thinking about 18s.

But after reading some of this thread, I get a little confused if I can do it. I have sports package brakes, and I added the Z1 370Z / G37 (Sport) Brake Upgrade Package.

So will I have trouble with 18s or should I just stay with the 19s.

Thanks for the help

You talking about this Z1 package?
https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...ge-p-4490.html

All it does is upgrade the lines, rotors and fluid. Doesn't change how the brake calipers fit within the wheels

Anyone run cosmis 206R? From what I’ve found the 18x9.5 will fit the front just like my 19” rays with a 20mm spacer I have now. And the 18x11 will fit the rear the same as well. Just curious if anyone has, and what tire sizes to run. Thanks!

OptionZero 12-02-2018 02:12 PM

look at the offset and width of the wheel you want to buy

compare to stock wheel

viola, you magically (or . . . through math) can tell how it will fit

or even easier - read this thread and copy the setup you like

From what I understand, none of the 18 inch Cosmis wheels will clear the Akebonos, due to the barrel. I would verify again with a vendor, but that's what I was told by Coz at CZP in 2016.

Absolutely correct. 18" snow tires are cheaper than getting 20". Why would I get a nice set of 20" wheels and rubber to beat up in the winter?

But also I take into account that the ride quality is better on 18" snow tires than 20"s. Especially in these pothole infested winter cities. :icon17:

Everyone has reasons for different applications.

Nice car! You should get some coilovers to really make it look aggressive!
